Appropriate programming for toddlers.

Last night Steve kept Ella with him while he was doing some work for a client at their office (He has his own business on the side and does some consulting). Ella entertained herself in various ways, one of which was watching television. TLC to be exact.

This was a conversation Steve and I had last night:

Me: So, Ella did alright keeping herself occupied?

Steve: Yeah, she did. Oh, and in case she she tells you that she has a friend on her shoulder tomorrow, you should know that she was watching a show about conjoined twins.

I watched quite a bit of TLC while pregnant with Henry. Aslynn got quite the dose of the Baby Story, and knows probably way more than she should about childbirth. Actually, she learned so much (and knew that women were often in a lot of pain) that I realized she would be interested in watching Henry's birth. That was the plan. She always asked me, "Are you pushing Henry out or having him cut out?" At the time I had no clue I would have a c-section, and unfortunately she had to miss out on watching. Maybe next time!
