I stay at home raising my four children, ages 6 , 4, 2, and 11 months, and manage all that entails. I love my family and they are my number one priority. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology, but I think motherhood will be my single greatest vocation. I value it above anything else. You only get one shot.
...waking up to your one month old smiling at you.
It's gonna be a good day. I promise, we'll post some pictures soon-- well, as soon as the baby starts looking a little more like a baby and a little less like a turtle.
I hope it HAS been a good day for you! I can't wait to see more pictures. I love the "turtle" stage (also know around here as the "little old man" stage). I just think it's so cute! Darren always thinks our kids are "funny looking" at that age, but I say they're absolutely adorable! :)
My husband thinks like Melissa's. He's not a huge fan of the newborn stage in general and is always telling me, "I wish they came out at 18 months." Wouldn't that be funny!? I'm glad your days (though chaotic, I'm sure) are filled with happy moments like these.

I always think of them as frogs at that age. :) Sometimes I accidentally call their legs "hindlegs". Sleep deprivation does amazing things to me.
